A wander along by Edinburgh’s Union Canal is a lovely way to spend a summer evening. It seemed like an ideal place to take some photos of a recent khaki and monochrome favourite outfit of mine.
This black and white leopard print shift dress was a great find in the independent clothes shop 8th + Main in Vancouver, Canada last year. Unfortunately it doesn’t have any label or branding but is pretty similar to this one in Zara at the moment! Another good monochrome purchase has been this H&M chain shoulder bag which I managed to get online before it sold out but waited for a month to arrive! It is really versatile and reminiscent of a Chanel “Boy” bag which would be a dream to own. I used my trusty khaki green jacket to tie around my middle so as to break up the bold print and add colour to the outfit.
Apologies for the lack of posts of late, I promise to post more regularly from now on!
Thanks for reading,
EO

What a beautiful dress! I really like the bold monochrome abstract leopard print the dress! And I really liked how you’ve styled this look with timeless and feminine pieces and then mixed it with some casual and masculine pieces such as the Birkenstocks and the khaki shirt! Hope everything is well with you!

Thank you, I wouldn’t have it any other way haha xx
I love the necklace paired with the dress. When I first saw these photos I thought that it was just a detail of the dress because they go together so well! The way you matched the color of the necklace to your jacket around your waist to the bottoms of the birkenstocks is awesome as well.
